Some animals have the ability to regenerate their body parts. When enemies approach, these animals will confuse their enemies by losing a body part. A sea cucumber will throw out its intestines. A star fish will lose its arm. An earthworm will split itself. A lizard will discard its tail, an octopus will lose its tentacle. This reaction will not harm the animals because they will regenerate the lost body parts in a short period of time.
The polar bear has two layers of hair. The first layer consists of needle-like hair, and it’s thick and transparent. It absorbs heat from sunshine. The internal layer is short and thick. Between the fur, the trapped air keeps it from losing heat. It keeps the body of the polar bear warm so that it can survive in the north pole.
